Redline 41 Mark II (from Wikipedia) This model was introduced in 1969 and production continued until 1972, with 35 examples constructed. It was also designed by Cuthbertson & Cassian and produced by Bruckmann Manufacturing in Canada, which was then part of C&C Yachts. The design uses predominantly fibreglass construction, has a masthead sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel. It has a length overall of 41.42 ft (12.6 m), a waterline length of 30.00 ft (9.1 m), displaces 19,700 lb (8,936 kg) and carries 9,500 lb (4,309 kg) of lead ballast. The boat has a draft of 6.75 ft (2.06 m) with the standard keel fitted. The boat is fitted with a Universal Atomic 4 gasoline engine of 30 hp (22 kW). The boat has a PHRF racing average handicap of 108 with a high of 99 and low of 114. It has a hull speed of 7.34 kn (13.59 km/h).

Dave Regnet learned to sail when he was 8 at summer camp on Lake Chautaugua. He returned 7 more summers because sailing (and teaching others to sail) became his passion. Dave grew up in Buffalo where he has been active in the Buffalo Harbor Sailing Club since the early 1980s. In 2007, Dave moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and became active in the Lake Grapevine Sailing Club. Returning north in 2010, Dave and his wife, Rebecca, joined the St. Marys Boat Club located on Grand Lake St. Marys. He was club champion in 2017. Dave’s retirement from over 30 years in manufacturing, sales management, and plant operations allows him to pursue his passion for boating by adding value to buyers and sailors alike in the Sandusky area of Lake Erie.
