BROKER’S COMMENTS: Marketed as the ASA (American Sailing Association) Beneteau First ASA 22, “Solena” has only been used in fresh water since new. A simple straightforward basic sailboat for anyone who wants easy to sail, easy to maintain, easy to teach on, easy to trailer and store. The deep extended cockpit with seating for 4-5 on each side for safety and passenger security in mind. The self-bailing cockpit, large storage area below and positive flotation gives piece of mind for the novice. All lines are led aft to self-tailing winches so there’s no need to go forward along with spirited performance from the flat top mainsail, roller furling Genoa, Asymmetrical spinnaker when sailing makes the First 22 a solid choice for both experienced sailors and novices alike. Easy, safe and fun!
