I recently had a very good experience with RCR Yachts, Buffalo branch, and specifically with Darren Wright, the Marina Manager, and want to pass on my heart felt thanks.
I was traveling between Buffalo and Florida, with my newly purchased Ranger 23 sailboat on my trailer when I found it was not blocked correctly below the keel, thus moved significantly on the trailer. I needed to get it centered before continuing on my trip, found RCR Yachts by talking to others at local boat ramps and dry storage facilities near by, dropped the boat off (with a note attached) on Sunday, Sept 28th, returning early on Monday Sept 29th.
Upon my return on Monday morning a very nice young lady pointed me towards Darren who was more than willing to give a fellow sailor a helping hand. After negotiating a fair price for the work, his team set about lifting "Life in the Slow Lane" up off the trailer, repositioning it correctly, helped me block it, suggested additional tie down straps and I was on my way. In under an hour, not only did we get the boat centered on the trailer, and meet a very friendly crew, but I felt like I'd made some friends that I could count on any time in the future if problems arrise which I'm up in the North East.
The customer service, expertise, and general "can do" attitude to the entire staff at RCR Yachts, Skyway division, was beyond reproach. Thanks again for helping me get on my way. I'm happy to report that the boat never moved an inch on the 800 mile trip south, thanks to the Marina folks at RCR Yachts. David Vaughan, Commodore, Fort Walton Yacht Club
