100.jpg) Don Finkle CEO Youngstown, NY Office Don Finkle is our CEO and has been with RCR for 36 years, since our inception in 1972. An active sailor since the age of 9, he sails and races all over North America. He has served on numerous industry boards and has held advisory positions with a number of boat manufacturers.
Don has long been involved in the promotion and management of sailing events and has held many volunteer positions in boating organizations at various levels. For five years he has been writing our popular weekly newsletters. He and his wife Heather enjoy sailing their Beneteau First 36.7 "Seaweed" out of Youngstown, NY. | Bob Reese President Youngstown, NY Bob Reese founded RCR in 1972, having been with our predecessor Youngstown Boat Company for nine years previous. He is a life-long sailor who in recent years has become more interested in multi-hull sailing. Bob still continues sailboat racing with his most prized win being the Corsair Trimarin Nationals in 2000, while skippering his brother Tom's Corsair 28R. He has focused primarily on the service and boatyard side of our business but has done just about every job there is in this business in his 45 years here. He holds a Coast Guard Masters license and is a private pilot. While he lives in Youngstown much of the year he spends his winter months in Punta Gorda, Florida. As a company sideline, he has built 5 "Boutique" marina dock facilities over the past 4 years with the help of Bruce, John and Lloyd. In 2006, he was chosen Youngstown Village Citizen of the Year.

Mary Egloff Controller Buffalo & Youngstown, NY Offices Mary grew up sailing on Lake Erie, and started racing when she met her husband Jim in 1984. They have owned and raced a J24, and currently race with family and friends on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Mary has 3 children ages 16, 13 and 10 who love to sail and are proud owners of a laser, and now are actively campaigning for a fishing boat. They are members of the Buffalo Canoe Club and Youngstown Yacht Club. She has an accounting degree from Ithaca College and manages all of RCR's financial matters. | |
Jane Reese Documentation/Registration Youngstown, NY Office Jane was one of our original three employees when RCR was founded in 1972. She took some years off for raising her three children but then came back to RCR as Office Manager. She handles our payroll, HR services, and specializes in registration, documentation and Title work. Her knowledge of these areas is extensive and she is often consulted by outside firms, inlcuding banks. After many years here she has cut her workload back to two days each week, so she may normally be reached on Mondays and Tuesdays. | |
Rick Lenard Broker Buffalo & Youngstown, NY Offices After a long career in the fine jewelry business as a Designer/Goldsmith/Manager, Rick came to RCR several years ago with a lifetime affection for boats and people. A native of WNY, he has owned a variety of crafts over the years and has successfully raced them all. He has also chartered numerous times all over the US & Caribbean. Rick is a two time Commodore of the Buffalo Harbor Sailing Club and a member of the Youngstown Yacht Club. He was RCR's top selling broker in 2007. He lives in Williamsville with his wife Terry. |  |
Tracy Buczak Broker Erie, PA Office Sailed for over 25 years. Former winner at Youngstown Level Regatta. Passed requirements and exam for USCG Master’s Captain’s License. I consider myself fortunate to have turned my avocation into my vocation. Sharing my knowledge and love for sailing and boating in general with both experienced boaters and those new to the sport has given me great pleasure and added new friendships to my life. As a founding member of Sail Erie helped shape the group of sailors with common interests focused on cruising and educational activities in the Great Erie area. |  |
Charles "Corbo" Corbishley, CPYB Broker Rochester & Sodus Point, NY Offices A native of northern New Jersey, Corbo was introduced to sailing shortly after graduating Ithaca College and became obsessed with sailing. Crewing whenever opportunity arose he also bought and campaigned several one-design sailboats. While still sailboat racing whenever time allows, he enjoys cruising with his wife and two teenage daughters. Before joining RCR Yachts Corbo enjoyed many careers and owned several businesses, Trucking, Banking, IT, Auditing, Sailmaking, Restaurateur, Tax Accounting, and various Sales positions.
In 2005 Corbo attained the status of Certified Professional Yacht Broker. Just 400 yacht brokers in North America have received the prestigious Certified Professional Yacht Broker designation, a program sponsored by the Yacht Brokers Association of (North) America.. The CPYB designation recognizes professional, experience, training and mastery of core areas of expertise related to professional yacht broker skills and knowledge. In addition to practical experience, CPYB brokers must comply with the CPYB Code of Ethics. |  |
Bob Macaulay Powerboat Broker Rochester & Sodus Point, NY Offices Bob has been around boats all of his life, owning many different power & sailboats, cruising & racing over 30,000 miles on Lake Ontario and its tributaries! Before coming to RCR, Bob worked at his family's award winning precision machine tool distribution company, Macaulay Machinery, Inc. He is a previous Rochester Yacht Club "Boat of the Year" winner and former RYC Board of Directors member.

Kris Werner Broker Rochester & Sodus Point, NY Offices Kris has spent his entire life around water, racing Laser's and fishing as a kid, then taking his passion to school attending the NY State Merchant Marine Academy at Fort Schuyler. He became an avid racer,earned a degree, and an unlimited Coast Guard License. After graduating,he coached his alma mater to a top 20 national ranking in collegiate sailing. Kris has over 50,000 sea miles under his belt piloting everything from 900'+ ocean tankers to the former "Spirit of Ontario 1", 290' Fast Ferry. He races actively at the Rochester YC with his wife Kiki, on various boats from J/24s to Beneteau First 40.7s. They have a young son Steven. | 120.jpg) |
Sara Galbreath Administrative Assistant & Warranty Erie, PA Office Sara has several important responsibilites at RCR Yachts in our Erie office. She handles all of our trucking arrangements, parts orders and warranty processing. She also orders cradles and cradle deliveries. Her office duties include a myriad of tasks including creating and posting used boat inventory lists, closing documents, and so forth. She is energetic, cheerful and helpful and has a great rapport with our customers. Sara is a graduate of PSU in Erie and is living in and renovating an old home in Erie with her boyfriend Randy. |  |
John Carpenter a.k.a. Carp Commissioning & Warranty Manager John has raced and crewed on boats for over 50 years and built his first daysailor at 11. He had his own boat repair business for 25 years before coming to RCR. John's proven attention to detail and customer care has led the way to many Manufacturer Customer Service Awards for RCR and personally earned him Beneteau's Customer Service Top Gun Award which included a trip to Paris, France in 2004. He is one of the most knowledgeable craftsman in this field and a tremenodus asset to RCR and our customers. |  |
Brian Buczak Commissioning & Warranty Technician Brian has been racing and crewing on boats for 20 yrs. Since joining RCR he has taken his knowledge to a professional level performing many installations. He has a natural aptitude for working with tools and things mechanical, and understands electronics equally well. Brian enjoys woodworking and cooking during his time off. |  |
Bob Currier Commissioning & Warranty Technician After serving 20yrs. in the Navy as an Electronics Tech, Bob worked at Xerox in a similar capacity before coming to RCR. He has attended numerous manufacturer service schools and continues to grow his skills. In his spare time Bob enjoys rebuilding computers and spending time with his family. |  |
Darren Wright Skyway Marina Manager Buffalo, NY Darren has been boating for the majority of his life and last year he added racing to his repetoire. He has been sailing for 10 years and presently owns a Catalina 25. Darren attended college for Marine Technology-Recreation and also has his Power Squadron Certificate and is Pesticide Certified. He has held various positions in this industry, working his way up to the position of managing RCR's largest facility. Darren is known for his organizational skills and concern for his customers. His wife Tearria is the Operations Manager of the Buffalo Yacht Club. They also have a son Joshua who is 13. |  |
Louie Fox Service Technician Buffalo, NY Louie started working on boats at the age of 10, and has more recently restored a 28' Penn Yann powerboat. He is Johnson/Evinrude and Mercruiser Certified. Louie enjoys woodworking and is currently restoring a house built in 1901. |  |
Larry Hacker Service Technician Buffalo, NY Larry is the former owner/operator of a charter company in Catagena, Columbia giving him lots of blue water and delivery captain experience. He also carries a 100 ton master auxilary sail and towing license. Larry is a talented woodworker who presently owns and is restoring two Cheoy Lee 36's. For several months he was the captain of "Wanderer", the sailboat from the movie "Captain Ron." |  |
