Corsair Dash 750

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Corsair Dash 750 is compact, easily trailerable, and ideal for camp-style cruising and day sailing. It is tough, lightweight, sporty, fast, responsive and safe. Developed from the well-proven Corsair 24 Mk II, the Dash incorporates the same innovative folding system and accommodation features of the previous model, but with an improved interior and pop-top system plus a modern rotating wing section mast, retractable aluminum bowsprit and dagger board, dagger-type aluminum rudder, plumb bows and larger volume floats. With its open-space cabin and spacious decks and side nets, the Corsair Dash 750 is a highly mobile pocket cruiser. But it’s the amazing performance, 20 knots plus speed capability and ease of trailering that sets this small Corsair apart from anything else in its class.

Dave Regnet learned to sail when he was 8 at summer camp on Lake Chautaugua. He returned 7 more summers because sailing (and teaching others to sail) became his passion. Dave grew up in Buffalo where he has been active in the Buffalo Harbor Sailing Club since the early 1980s. In 2007, Dave moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and became active in the Lake Grapevine Sailing Club. Returning north in 2010, Dave and his wife, Rebecca, joined the St. Marys Boat Club located on Grand Lake St. Marys. He was club champion in 2017. Dave’s retirement from over 30 years in manufacturing, sales management, and plant operations allows him to pursue his passion for boating by adding value to buyers and sailors alike in the Sandusky area of Lake Erie.
