Youngstown is one of the most picturesque harbors in the region, uniquely located right on the border across from beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. There are seven miles of navigable Lower Niagara River which allow for pleasant boating when the Lake is rough or cold. Youngstown is also the closest US port to Toronto and the Canadian cruising destinations at the west end of the Lake. There is also a US Coast Guard station here and historic forts and parks on both sides of the River. The Village of Youngstown is just finishing a substantial improvement project to their waterfront dock and park, where transient boaters may tie up at no charge. There is a fuel dock at Youngstown Landings Marina. You will not find a better all-around boating location for hundreds of miles.
