Beneteau 31 Demo in Erie
A few observations from local sailor Dick Robertson who recently raced on the B31:
"The B31 sure felt nice sliding thru the water. I know the boat is only 31 feet but she felt more like a 35 or 36-
footer. When we were sailing downwind, wing on wing she tracked very well and surprised me on the
acceleration in the puffs going to weather the Sunbrella leech was hooked and hurt our weather
performance but that can easily be fixed. The B31 sure tacked nice and with only a 100% jib she was very
easy to handle.
The interior is fabulous, very, very well appointed and the master suite, what a lot of room… Great for
cruising. The 20hp diesel is quite impressive."
