The stainless arch over the cockpit is multi-functional, providing a hand-hold while boarding, an out of the way yet convenient place for the mainsheet traveler, a frame, a boom gallows, and a mast rest while trailering. There are integral stainless mooring cleats welded on either side of the arch, and the arch frame will accept such accessories as rod holders, drink holders and the like.

The transom is clutter free to provide easy boarding via the stainless boarding ladder. The outboard bracket is extremely sturdy and very easy to reach.

The hull and deck are fabricated entirely of hand laid tri-axial fiberglass and polyester resin. An external deck to hull joint with stainless bolt fasteners has been employed, which is protected with a rigid PVC abrasion-resistant covering and stainless steel rub-rail.

Teak doors, fiddles and a teak/holly sole give the Eclipse a rich, traditional décor. A lift hatch with smoke-colored Lexan see-through top, located at the forward end of the cabin, provides additional light and ventilation.
